Los Laureles

Los Laureles, Entre Rios

Los Laureles Lodge, situated on the banks of the Rio Paraná provides the ideal location for fishing the legendary Dorado, the ‘Tiger of the Paraná’.

Furthermore, in the appropriate season, the Lodge is also one of Argentina’s foremost wing shooting lodges, for duck, dove and pigeon.

The Fishing:

Surrounded by rivers and white sand beaches, this Lodge is a flyfisherman’s  paradise.  Its direct access to the Paraná and its many tributaries ensures a remarkable experience for fishing the aggressive golden Dorado, renowned for its fight and its unequalled jumping acrobatics.

Much of the fishing can be undertaken wading the banks.  But the Lodge’s modern Carolina skiff boats are equipped with a perfect casting platform for those who prefer to fish from the boat.  These boats are ideal also for a rapid movement from one location to another.

Programme:

At Los Laureles there is no fixed programme, and guests can be accommodated for the length of time that they require. Access to the Lodge is by air from Buesnos Aires to Santa Fé.  Guests will be met at the airport and transferred to the Lodge, following which there will normally be time for lunch and almost a day’s fishing.

Accommodation:

Los Laureles is a superb 5 star Lodge and is located on the banks of the Paraná River, some 580km from Buenos Aires. It is equipped with all the facilities and services to provide very comfortable accommodation for 12 persons (6 guests and their companions, or a shooting party of 12). There are six double rooms, all en-suite with private bath and air-conditioning, a big kitchen, a dining room with an adjoining grill, a sitting room, a sitting room with satellite TV and music and a swimming pool.  Above all, the cuisine is a gourmet paradise.
